CAMP, CHOREO, GIGS, GRAD, KARMA, SHAKEDOWN & THE KPMG BALL As I promised myself and everyone who still reads my blog...I got my 1 GIG memory card. It's so blooody fantastic. I have like space for over 3000 photos and I when take videos the memory never seems to go down!!! Woo hoo...all hail the wonderful memory card. And so because of that, I've been trigger happy again ever since and I finally have a heapload of photos. So here goes. --------------------------- CAMP  k...this is cheating cause this photo came from Bud. I have still to get photos from JEL's camera!!! =o) But this is all of us at Ferngully Lodge which was about 2 hours away. The air was so clean and crisp but it was so so cold. Heaters weren't fantastic so I spent the most of the first night freezing my face off. But the second night was better. AND we had to share 4 showers between all of us. Which wasn't too great when you come in last to take a shower and all the hot water is GONE!!! I really tested my mental and physical strength then man....BRRRRR During camp we got split into groups....my group was called the 'THUNDER CATS' (*meeoowww*). And it consisted of me, Jel, Su Lynn, Grace, Jason & Ben. (photos to come soon). Best part was that we came in SECOND for the station games. HURRAH for us....hehe...I reckon we did really well. THREE CHEERS to our fantastc events committee for camp!!! It was heaps of fun.  --------------------------- CHOREO Since some people are also having problems getting the photos I sent I decided to just put the photos up. To all my dancers who are in my piece. Thank you so much for all the dedication and commitment. It's looking good. Whatever it is we'll pull through it all together. Hugz. Love the locker look) --------------------------- COMMERCE GRADUATION FUNCTION GIG One thing I can say about it: Balloons Galore!! There wasn't a very big crowd when we performed that night. That was kind of a good thing cause it meant we could take back all the balloons AND we could bring back our own goodie bag. Haha..not to mention there were black and wite cupcakes for us as well. But the performance went great. I am amazed how good it looked considering one of the routines was pulled off in a week. *phew* But like I said, balloons everywhere...so we had to take all the spastic photos we could right? Cupcakes...(in the words of Jo) YUM YUM!! --------------------------- JEL, GINNIE & CINDY'S GRAD Congrats to Jel, Ginnie & Cindy for graduating...All with the bachelor of commerce by the way....hehhe....I want the individual photos people!!! So don't forget to send them over!  EVERYONE There were SO MANY of us. Man, I'm somewhat glad that we didn't take the professional one....we probably wouldn't fit and everyone will be giving us dirty looks. Haha. Oh and I HAD TO put these photos in. We have the funniest guys in the group....hahha. When you look at the photos, imagine the song "I'm too sexy" in the background. HAHA!  I'm too sexy for my shirt....  I'm too sexy for your body Haha...wow...really cannot make it.. --------------------------- KARMA  Only the best musical from CMG that I have seen. Maybe I'm bias cause I know the people in the show and they are such a great bunch! And also cause Ning, Ness, Grace & I sweated away several hours choreographing and teaching them. But it was all well worth it. When we finally saw them perform on stage it nearly made us all cry. We were so so proud of them all. Like our babies...hahha. I guess it was that night that I really got that feeling you get when you see your students perform. =o)  The CAST!!  Steven...the Production Manager & Script Writer  Paul the Director --------------------------- SHAKEDOWN The coming together of some of the best hip hop crews around under one roof. HOw fantastic is that? We all went for both heats to watch all the groups. The kids are pretty fantastic...they have great blocking ideas....something we all should learn from.  This was 'Baby Bling'. They were so so cute and so so neat. They were much better than some of the older ones surprisingly. Power to the kids! The youngest one was 7 years old and they have so much attitude...it was great! I realise people tend to lose that courage to act out of their comfort zone as they get older. Kids are more free and willing to be funny and silly and everything. Hehe...might explain why a lot of Flare people are slightly spastic....we all haven't grown up...yay!! This goes to prove it...look at all the monkeys!!  Shar!!! I want the truckload of videos we took!!! --------------------------- THE KPMG BALL I have to admit...I'm not a ball person. But this ball was DA BOMB!! KPMG has so much money to splurge on something like this. Sometimes I wish Flare had this much to do something this Grand. The ball had masquerade theme. And it was held at the Crown Palladium. The hall was HUGE and the decorations were beautiful! There were nice candle pieces in the centre of every table and a huge dance floor with a big stage. Was like stepping into this fairy land....  Candles And of course, what ball would be complete without a dance performance. The costumes were so nice. The girls had big gowns like those you get in Victorian times. And the guys were in tuxes.  They ballroomed dance for a while...Kel & I were like..cheh....we could have done that!!! UNTIL...  These guys were like climbing and swinging everywhere! Haha...I dun even think we can climb up a piece of cloth the way they did. Hmm...should have gone for those pole dancing classes...they would really have helped. BUT to top it off...along came these guys....and they were completely topless and only wore tight tight swim trunk like undies. OOOO....i jumped in front to take a photo...not sure if it's very clear...but you guys can squint and see.....Kel wasn't too happy that I was paying so much attention. Haha....he tried to console himself by saying that the girls would come next and they would be wearing very little too...HAHA...too bad for him...they were pretty clothed....*grin*  I can't forget to mention the food. Which was really really nice. It's Crown after all. The only picture I took of the food was dessert. Sorry...I was too hungry to take a photo of the mains. But the dessert was really pretty too.  And Jo says again: YUM YUM ! And of course....I can't forget the photos of the two of us right?  Kel & I  Kel & I again --------------------------- *Phew* Finally....that took a really long while. HAPPY BDAY NING NING! Happy bday babe! I hope you liked the gifts. You were so clueless!! I mean yeah...who would expect to celebrate your bday a whole two months later. We need to do something so we're not that predictable right? Rock on babe...here's to many more years of fun and spasticness. It has been so wonderful knowing you this whole year. Looking forward to more. =o) Keep on doing your thang girl! And more power to the Fab Four! Haha...
