Last night was fantastic! I think Shan, Anita, Jason, Maal and Swaas would agree with me. The dance is finally over. Although we had to go all the way to freaking Ringwood to perform, it was worth it. We had a hell of a time on stage. And we really should thank all the people who came. The support really meant a lot to all of us. Trust me, cheering puts a smile on all our faces. Plus, it stops reminding us that we're on the verge of throwing up cos we're so nervous. Sorry there were no photos of the dance. There aren't even any photos of us in costume. No video, nothing! Sigh. But we'll try to dig something out soon. Maybe the professional video of the night.

Pretty Orchids. Clever boy, he knows they're my favourite. On the whole, the night turned out well. I hope the rest didn't feel funny esp since there were so few Asians at the night. (It was an Indian cultural Night, of which our dance was neither Indian nor cultural...haha). Dun worry. I was the only Chinese girl on stage. Jason was the other Chinese guy. Haha. FAREWELL CAT!!!Glad I could see you before you went dear. You take good care of yourself back at home and don't forget to sms me once you're back. 4 mths seems long but it'll zoom past before you know it. Thanks again for everything. I don't know how many times I've told you that. It just never seems to be enough. You've been a lot of support and you've always been the voice of encouragement for me at the right moments. Miss you dear. we'll catch up heaps online. Promise... Brunei Was back for like 4 days. Had to see my grandma and let her know I'm happily attached and going to get married next year. haha...right....It's the only database she has...who's married, who's not, who's got a bf, who doesn't, who hasn't had kids yet, who by now should be bearing her lots of great grandkids...haha...Trust me...I get a lot of lecturing from her all the time...

Grandma's dog. He's a little old...I could tell cos when i first saw him he was walking a little senget (crooked). Ipoh We spent close to a week here. Andrew, Derek and I in Derek's home. Thanks so much Derek, for your hospitality and of course to your parents and sisters who were wonderful hosts. Thanks so much again. Believe me..we ate...a lot...Derek's dad knows all the BEST (NO.1) places to eat in Ipoh...right Derek?

One of the many weird things we ate. Derek was damn happening when it came to SUCKING SNAILS. He was a freaking vaccumm. Honest. He had to give us lessons. Frog's legs too..haha..yum... 
One of the caves in ipoh. It's used as a temple now. We had to climb so many steps it wasn't funny. Not to forget the fact that a lot of us were really out of shape. 
Cameron Derek drove us up to Cameron Highlands. it was a really long and tiring ride. Really really long. But it was cooler up there than in Ipoh. What a relief. The heat was really getting to us anyway...

There was this really nice English house up there. Had lunch and took lots of pictures around the house 
Next Stop - Redang After driving down to KL, taking a flight to Trengganu and boat to Redang, we had finally arrived. It was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. Go check it out for yourselves. But it really was sheer bliss. Finally..I could get my tan.. 
There were these cute ass squirrels that Andrew was going balistic over. Hehe.. Snorkelling...we saw so many huge ass fish. And a baby shark too. One of the Divers caught Nemo the clown fish for me to hold. Damn cute. we touched eels, weird things on the sea floor, coral. Was terrific.

Three of us...after being very badly burnt...Derek it's all your fault..shouldn't have gone for that last round Genting After 4 days and 3 nights in Redang and an unforgettable night in Trengganu (Derek was damn upset because the TV in our hotel room showed only blue pictures...and occasionally it would turn purple..hahha), we went to Genting straight away. Derek's dad was powerful man. He managed to negotiate bread and jam for breakfast in Trengganu and Derek and I were too scared to ask for extra tea. Haha. Anyway..Genting. we met Derek's best friend, Qiwen. Then went up via train, bus and cable car. Spent the night in the most horrendous looking hotel. But hey, it was cheap. No one's complaining. 
Qiwen. She's an absolutely wonderful person. We had absolutely no means of communicating with one another cause she could hardly speak English and my Chinese is as good as shit. But we still managed. And as you can see...I'm still pretty burnt. I was peeling...crusty nose as Eddie would say.

Us on the rides. Last Stop - KL Finally, we arrived in KL. Andrew was relieved cos now it meant he could go shopping for his gadgets (dun roll your eyes Derek). And it also meant lots of shopping and meeting ppl we missed. Stayed in Derek's orchestra teacher's house. So nice of him. It was nice..apart from the fact that someone's grandfather had passed away there. Scary shit. But nvm, as long as there's a TV there Derek's more than happy. 
Dinner with Matiin, Ben and Sherry. Matiin - all the best in KL. 
Sherry and I for a quick meal and shopping before I left. Woman...I miss you. Was good seeing you and talking to you again. Don't worry, I'll be back and I will drag the others down with me.

Eddie and Sheriden. I stayed with Eddie for the last few days. Hey, I miss you. Take good care of yourself and don't worry. I'm more than fine over here.

Haha.. Bon Voyage That was it basically. A lot of photos but a hell of a lot of fun. Brought back lots of things. Well rested. Missed a lot of people back at home. So it was good to come back. Derek and I had to suffer on the British Airways flight back arriving at 5 am in the morning, Derek getting sniffed out by the customs beagle at the airport (cute right Derek? *grin*), and the two of us bringing in like 5 packs of ciggarettes (looking like serious chain-smokers) and pissing in our pants cos we're hoping they wun check out bags for pirated DVDs...HAHA. A good holiday...Just glad to be back.. ~Am~ at 7:35 PM
Oh man...I have been gone for too long that I nearly forgot my username and password for my blogger account. This is in reply to all the pleas that I have received about updating my blog. For the moment I have to sort out the photos from my whirlwind trip around MSIA!! Haha...Derek, Andrew, I had a great time..not to mention a lot of the shopping I did....FOUR pairs of shoes...(of course..that is no where near to Lid's EIGHTEEN pairs of shoes...or was it more? Hahha...) Anyway...just a quick picture...Derek and I snorkelling on Redang (island off the East Coast of West Msia - Trengganu....which Andrew so aptly pronounces as Te-Reng-Ga-Nooo...*grin*) 
As I have been rambling to everyone..the water is CLEAR...and the sand is like POWDER...hehe...I'm sure everyone has heard me say that...but if you ever get the chance...go..it's a nice place...and talk to Derek and I....we'll definitely recommend you the BEST place to stay...right Derek? ahahha...
