I feel so lucky
For the roof over my head For the life given to me For the friends who care For the occasional listening ear For the warmth I feel For my pillars of support For all my five senses For a life of mistakes and lessons For someone who watches over me For everything i take for granted now and then I see ppl around me who aren't so fortunate and who don't have the 'luxuries' that come as such basic 'necessities' to us. They have histories. They have pasts that hurt as much as anyone else. They have stories to tell and somehow when I listen, all my worries seem trivial. There are so many things in life that change us, mould us, build us to be who we are. Different perspectives, different views, different outlooks on life. I admire so many people in life. For the things they go through, for the inner strength they possess. And at the same time, I'm thankful for them allowing me to know what they go through. To be a part of their lives. To see what they have seen, to try to understand what they have felt, to reflect on what I am thankful for... ~Am~ at 4:45 AM NEW FACT... Check it out people.
